Kane Brown has always played by his own rules. Heck, he created a career for himself in the most unusual way, becoming a viral sensation simply by setting up his phone in his bathroom and hitting record.

So, while record executives huddle in conference rooms brainstorming about the release of his debut album, Kane continues to play by his own rules, much to his fan’s delight.

His latest move occurred on Oct. 11 when Kane released a sneak peek at a brand-new song. “Hope y’all enjoy this new song off my album called ‘Rockstars,’” he wrote on his YouTube page. “You can pre-order on my birthday October 21st.”

And with his adorable dog by his side, Kane pressed play on a song that is just as impressive as every one he’s released thus far. From his Gold-certified “Used to Love You Sober” to his current hit, “Thunder in the Rain,” Kane continues to shock the world with his ability to continue growing his fan base, many of which were first attracted to the covers he would share on YouTube of country classics such as George Strait’s “Check Yes and No.”
