Kid Rock is definitely in the right holiday spirit of giving back.

He may have a tough, rough and tumble exterior, but Kid Rock has a big ole heart of gold, especially when it comes to causes that support our veterans.

Kid posted the most amazing, heartfelt message to all the vets and active duty military members out there thanking them for their dedication and service. He’s also an advocate for the Canine Companions for Independence program, which pairs disabled veterans with dogs trained to assist them and give them more independence in their daily lives. Kid will also perform at Charlie Daniels’ upcoming 80th birthday Volunteer Jam on Nov. 30.

He also took the time last week to narrate a special farewell tribute video for NASCAR star Tony Stewart, who’s been a close friend of Kid’s for years and years. Stewart ran his final race before retirement at Homestead-Miami Speedway just before Thanksgiving.

He’s been melting our hearts and giving us the best laughs — especially with those throwback photos he’s been posting. Vintage Kid Rock from the ’90s and baby Ritchie photos when he was just a teenager are the perfect look into the life and childhood of a superstar in the making!

Now we can’t speculate on his holiday plans, but we know exactly what he’ll be doing next April. Kid Rock will be partying with lucky fans on his own cruise. The Kid Rock Chillin’ The Most cruise sets sail April 4, 2017, for five days of music and good times from Tampa to Key West and Great Stirrup Cay. The cruise is currently sold out, but there is a wait list for all you fans wanting to get aboard. We might just have to put ourselves on that list!

Maybe he’ll also be celebrating a win for “Male Artist of the Year” at the inaugural Rare Country Awards — you can decide. Voting is still open at www.RareCountryAwards.com with winners announced on Dec. 15.
