The Seattle Seahawks dominated the Denver Broncos 43-8 under the bright lights of MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, N.J., Sunday prompting Herman Cain to ponder some of the life lessons of Super Bowl XLVIII.
Sometimes people fumble early in life, are plagued by turnovers, but resilience is a better option than blame. Cherish the touchdowns when they happen. Analysts can try as hard as they wish to make predictions, but no one knows what will happen for certain.
“That’s why you play they play the game,” said Cain “we live our lives every day on the playing field of life.”
“In life, you never know when halftime occurs. Some us are probably in the fourth quarter and don’t even know it.”
“Live each day for something good.”
