Since it’s release back in 2010, “Need You Know” has remained one of the biggest success stories of the century, catapulting Lady Antebellum into certified country stardom. In fact, the song would go on to take the Grammy for record of the year, song of the year, best country album and best country performance by a duo or group later that year.

Now six years later, a prolific YouTube talent has come out with his own version of the country hit, showing that a great song always has more life in it.

“I loved that song as soon as it came out,” explains singer-songwriter Sam Tsui of the cover recently released on the Grammys YouTube page as part of their ReImagined Series. “It’s easily one of my favorite Grammy-winning songs. I think the reason that I love it is it tells a really relatable human story. Plus, it’s a beautiful song.”
