All eyes and ears were on Evansville, Ind., on Feb. 18, as Luke Bryan embarked on his 2016 Kill the Lights Tour with both some new passion and a new set list that included the sweetest of surprises.

“Oh, you all like this?” Luke seemed to question the audience as he tore into the first few notes of Ed Sheeran’s monster hit “Thinking Out Loud,” along with openers Little Big Town. Luke seemed to be feeling the song so much that it even inspired him to do an opening night shot with his LBT friends before going into a sexy rendition of Marvin Gaye’s “Let’s Get It On.”

Of course, Luke also did his hits such as “Strip It Down,” “Drink a Beer,” and “(Country Girl) Shake It For Me” for the enthusiastic Midwest crowd.

Wanna check it out firsthand? Luckily, Luke and his country pals are set to spend a good majority of 2016 out on the road, “performing nearly 70 concerts across the U.S. before wrapping this fall,” according to a recent press release.

Luke’s new tour will also include five stadium shows, including July 16 in Boston at Gillette Stadium, Aug. 19 in Minneapolis at U.S. Bank Stadium, Aug. 27 in Chicago at Wrigley Field, Oct. 22 in Dallas at AT&T Stadium, and closing out the tour on Oct. 29 in Detroit at Ford Field.
