By now, you’ve probably seen video of Luke Bryan’s heated moment with a fan at Charlie Daniels’ Volunteer Jam Nov. 30 in Nashville. Fan video shows the guy in the front row seeming to taunt Luke in some way. Luke says, “Come on,” and then calls the guy to the stage and appears to put his hand to him.

Many fans in the audience said the guy was flipping the bird. Now, Luke’s camp is confirming those details.

A statement from Luke’s camp made available to Rare Country first reads, “A man in front row was making crude hand gestures toward Luke during his performance. It was insulting not only to him, but more importantly to the men, women and families sitting around him who were there to support and celebrate Charlie Daniels and the efforts of raising money for the military veterans – some of who were in the audience. The concert security personnel saw the man’s disruptive actions of the event and he was escorted out.”

Aside for that incident, Luke had a great time at the Volunteer Jam. As you can see in this Facebook Live video Rare Country shot with Luke on the way to the stage, he was in great spirits before the show.

He later joined Charlie onstage for a great performance of “The Devil Went Down to Georgia.”
