Megyn Kelly is taking a 10-day vacation.

It’s the first time she’ll be getting extended time off in six months, “The Kelly File” host announced on Wednesday night’s show. Kelly plans disconnect from all things electronic, go to the beach, ride some bikes with her husband and kids and refresh.
Kelly is scheduled to return August 24.
Many have speculated that the vacation timing could have something to do with fallout over the Republican debate that aired on Fox News August 6.
Kelly did begin her announcement by saying “Well, it’s been an interesting week,” perhaps alluding to her questioning of Donald Trump and his response during the debate — he accused her of not being very nice to him — and on Twitter afterwards.

Trump also suggested Kelly questioned him the way she did because she was on her period.
But Mediaite reported that the the vacation was planned long before the debates took place.
