Bennett joined Miss Piggy for a duet of “Santa Clause is Coming to Town” on a parade float.

The float began to move forward, causing Bennett to stumble. Miss Piggy grabbed on to him, preventing him from falling over.

It was a Thanksgiving miracle at the 90th Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade for the singer who was also turning 90 later this year. Host Matt Lauer told the audience:

We want to say that Tony Bennett – not only celebrating the 90th Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade this year – the legendary performer also celebrating his 90th birthday this year with a two-hour, star-studded NBC special airing Tuesday night, Dec. 20th at 9.
