Black Friday can be an exciting time but also a horrendous time for those who work in retail.

The Seattle Premium Outlets were packed with shoppers on Black Friday and the Nike factory store in Tulaip, Washington had another thing coming.

On a typical day, this is what the store looks like:

This is the nightmare that resulted after shoppers went nuts on Black Friday to try on shoes and snag up all the deals:

It's like a zombie apocalypse. I feel bad for the people who need to clean this up. #BlackFriday #NikeOutletStore

Customer Larry Downer of Seattle recorded video of the mayhem:

“The wake of consumerism at the #Nike Factory Store is savage. Found Davis some basketball shoes, saved a lady from drowning in a sea of orange boxes, and sprained my neck from shaking my head so much. Yikes,” Downer wrote on Facebook.

Downer spoke to BuzzFeed News about what happened inside the store and told them he went there to buy basketball sneakers for his son.

“I thought there was an earthquake that happened,” Downer told BuzzFeed News. “It was unreal.”

“People were just kicking stuff out of the way,” he added.

Sadly, he wasn’t the only one who took to social media to complain about the mess:

A worker told BuzzFeed News that nearly 20,000 people visited the store starting at 8 p.m. on Thursday until 10 p.m. on Friday.
