Common Core has been lampooned by Americans practically since the day it was named.

From a father with a degree in engineering defending his son in writing to a model putting in her two cents or people taking 56 seconds to solve 9+6, people have routinely criticized Common Core by saying it lacks common sense.

IJ Review picked up on a tweet Friday of another Common Core jab made by a man in Ohio.

This check is written out in “common core math” to Millridge Elementary school with the thinking that if the school “wants to cash it, it’s going to have to explain to the bank cashier how it works,”  IJ Review wrote . The publication termed this “an exercise in futility.”
