“If you booked Donald Trump on your show, what would your first question be?” Cohen asked.

Maddow paused, looked up and said, “Are you going to send me or anybody that I know to a camp?”

Whether the remark was serious, half-serious or tongue-in-cheek we can’t say. It’s also not clear what specifically Maddow feared would get her put in a camp.

We do know that Maddow is openly gay and a member of the media, groups that have voiced concerns about Vice President-elect Mike Pence and Trump’s general way of critiquing and dealing with the press.

Maddow, you may recall, melted down when, on Election Day, Donald Trump took critical state after critical state.
