Carrie Underwood and Miranda Lambert have both been tearing their own path through country music for more than a decade now. Think about all the guys they’ve annihilated throughout their careers. Carrie destroyed her no-good boyfriend’s truck in “Before He Cheats” and Miranda torched her ex’s house in “Kerosene.”

That’s why we were so excited when they teamed up for the barn-burner of a duet, “Somethin’ Bad,” at the 2014 CMA Music Festival. As you can see from this clip, the two lady superstars just loved getting the chance to go head-to-head with this tale of a modern-day “Thelma and Louise” getting into some trouble in New Orleans.

What makes this performance even more special is the fact that they’ve only performed “Somethin’ Bad” live together on a handful of TV appearances, including this one on ABC’s annual CMA Music Festival special. They debuted it on the 2014 Billboard Music Awards and then performed it on that year’s CMT Music Awards.

Carrie includes a portion of “Somethin’ Bad” in the set list for her current Storyteller tour. Here’s hoping Miranda finds a way to include the song on her upcoming trek.
