Toronto Mayor Rob Ford’s brief rehab stint may be keeping him sheltered from public scrutiny, but his dear sister Kathy ensured that the Fords would not be kept out of the spotlight for long.
The Toronto Sun reports that Kathy Ford made an appearance in court Monday for shoplifting toothbrushes in 2013. Toronto law enforcement officials claim that Ford failed to finish the 25 hours of community service she was required to complete for her crime and that she failed to show up for her Feb. 13 court date. Kathy of course claims that she did complete the hours.
Kathy was not the most welcoming when approached by reporters following her day in court.
“I’m not interested in talking to you,” she said. Reporters of course learned the hard way that not every Ford has the charisma of Rob.
