Duck Dynasty and “Dancing with the Stars” favorite Sadie Robertson asked her great-grandmother “Mamaw” Jo Shackelford to share how she’s gotten through difficult times in her life.

“Prayer … a lot of prayer, because there have been difficult times,” Shackleford said.

“People look at happy people and think, ‘Oh, you’ve never had anything bad happen to you,’ and that’s just not true. Everyone has had bad things happen to them.”
