Sarah Palin has been a vocal Trump supporter throughout the campaign, and she’s back in the spotlight now that the president-elect is considering her to head the Department of Veterans Affairs. And while Palin campaigned hard for Trump, she said in an interview with Breitbart Radio today that she knows she’s not the reason the Donald will be moving into 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue.

The Independent reported that when she was asked if she believed God’s fingerprints could be seen in the election outcomes, the Alaskan answered, “No doubt, divine providence played a huge role in this election.”

She went on to say, “I saw more and more people’s eyes open, and I think so much of that was based on the church in general, those people of faith who were praying to God that people would wake up.” She continued, “The Fathers dedicated this land […] dedicated it to God.” If Mrs. Palin is correct, we’ll have to see what God and Trump have in store for the United States.
