A man thieving $10,000 worth of items, including a laptop, several purses, watches and cash from a church in Chula Vista, Calif., foiled himself in unlikely fashion.

According to reports, investigators found a cellphone, left behind after the break-in, containing a “selfie” of the perpetrator.

Police who discovered the photo happened to recognize the location the photo was taken and were able to identify the man in the photo as “Howe” — at least, that’s how he was named in the original report.

The reflected landscape in the lenses of his bro-bans are the likely cause of his demise.

Police said a search of Howe’s belongings turned up some stolen items from both the church and RV.

He has admitted to the crime.
