She soaks oats in almond milk overnight for the easiest on-the-go breakfast ever

As a working mother of two, I know how difficult it can be to feed the kids a good, nutritious breakfast before they leave for school or daycare in the mornings.

Thankfully, making this overnight oatmeal is even easier than pouring a bowl of cereal.

Simply combine all the ingredients and spoon the oatmeal into Mason jars. Refrigerate the jars overnight; then, in the morning, simply grab one and voilà, breakfast is served!

You’ll need:

  • 1 cup rolled oats with flax seed
  • ½ banana, mashed
  • ½ teaspoon cinnamon
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup
  • ¾ cup almond milk
