Fox News anchor Shepard Smith was all doom and gloom when he described the devastating effect that Hurricane Matthew could have as the Category 4 storm makes its may through Florida.

“This moves 20 miles to the west, and you and everyone you know are dead. All of you,” Smith says. “Because you can’t survive it. It’s not possible, unless you’re very, very lucky. And your kids die, too.”

Earlier on during his hurricane coverage, Smith also had some strong words for a Florida woman who planned on sticking around during the storm.

The Fox News anchor seemed to echo the sentiments made by Florida Gov. Rick Scott during a Thursday morning briefing.

“This is serious,” he said. “This storm will kill you. Time is running out.”
