You will need:

  • 1 loaf cinnamon swirl bread, cubed

  • 6 large eggs
  • 2 cups half and half
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ¼ cup brown sugar
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • ⅛ teaspoon nutmeg
  • 2 tablespoons rum (optional, but delicious!)
  • ¾ cup walnuts, coarsely chopped
  • ¾ cup raisins
  • ⅛ teaspoon salt
