On Sunday night, Hollywood remembered those we have lost.

“This year, we have lost so many colleagues whose tributes and accomplishments will not be forgotten,” Henry Winkler said as he introduced the in memoriam section of the Emmy Awards.

Photos of fallen stars — including Garry Shandling, Muhammad Ali, Merle Haggard, Alan Rickman, Prince, Gene Wilder and Natalie Cole — waved over the television as “American Idol” alum Tori Kelly sang a haunting rendition of “Hallelujah.”
