“The fast food industry is slowing down,” Herman Cain declared on his radio program Tuesday afternoon as he discussed the fast-food industry labor strike.
“Don’t try to live off of minimum wage,” he says.
“Minimum wage was never intended to be a living wage.”
“It is a starting wage, or a supplemental wage, or a wage that will allow you to climb the corporate ladder,” he said. Not a wage intended to live and pay for medical expenses.
