Call now to “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert” and hear all your favorite celebrities talk about their lives.
“The Late Show Celebrity Chat Line” is a skit from the latest episode of “The Late Show,” and it parodies ads for phone sex lines, promising that a person can stay up and talk to famous celebrities, asking them questions about their lives and careers.
“A third ‘Sister Act’ movie?” Asks Whoopi Goldberg in a sultry tone. “I don’t know, would you like that?”
“Whatever you’re into, our celebs want to make it happen.” Says the voice-over, followed by celebrities sensuously answering common talk show questions.
“Do you wanna know what I do?” Asks Tony Hale, of “Veep” and “Arrested Development” fame. “I play emasculated characters.”
With big names like Bryan Cranston and cameos from several more, this skit shows that even after “The Colbert Report,” Stephen Colbert can bring the funny.
“What am I wearing?” Asks John Krasinski, toying with a giant brick cell phone. “I’m wearing a designer suit. My publicist picked it out, and it’s much nicer than the other things I wear in my daily life.”
The famous operators are standing by with anecdotes, details about their projects and stories of knowing Colbert before he became famous.
