On Thursday, mere hours before Donald Trump’s presidential inauguration, Handler took to social media to share a few last minute opinions about the next President of the United States.

“Trump says his cabinet has the “highest IQ of any cabinet ever assembled”… and that includes the cabinets from the Malm collection @ Ikea,” the comedienne wrote on Twitter.

She also shared an image of fireworks over the Lincoln Memorial in Washington, D.C. and slammed Trump for his rumored relationship with Russia. While some might see “U. S. A.” spelled out in the fireworks, Handler apparently saw something completely different.

“It looks like Putin also bought Trump’s fireworks… #TrumpInauguration #UnitedStatesofRussia,” she wrote.

On Thursday night, Handler shared a drink with her “registered republican” friend, Shannen Doherty.

Decided to spend the eve of the inauguration with a ‘registered republican.’ In the end we are now united in being registered as Independents. #unity @theshando lub you. Let’s get connected,” she wrote.

Handler finished her thoughts on the incoming President on Friday by sharing a quote from Kara Vallow.

“Once or twice in every generation a line is crossed so egregiously that where you stood on the issue will forever define you. -Kara Vallow.”
