That’s how the first post-President Trump episode of “SNL” began last night. And then, it immediately cut to a shirtless Beck Bennett sitting behind a gaudy desk as Vladimir Putin. “Yesterday, we all made Donald Trump the 45th President of the United States. Hooray! We did it!”
Yep, they did it, which probably means that Bennett’s going to have his shirt off for the next four years — not that he seems to mind.

He then referenced yesterday’s worldwide day of action, seemingly understanding why people would be worried with the country in the hands of someone as volatile as the Tweeter-in-Chief. “Don’t worry. It’s not,” he said, oozing with confidence. “Relax, I got this. Putie’s going to make everything okay.”
To illustrate just how okay it is in Russia, Kate McKinnon makes an appearance as her recurring Weekend Update character, Olya. “I am so happy,” she says. “I sleep in bed. Not in carcass of dog. My president is number one hottie for all time.” In exchange for her testimony, Olya gets her pension, a raw fish.
