Things at ABC’s “The View” will look different come next year.

Comedienne and actress Whoopi Goldberg announced she’s only signed on for the current season of the talk show.

Goldberg broke the news on “The Wendy Williams Show,” Friday. She said come next September, you probably won’t see her at the desk.

“No, probably not,” she told Williams. “I have to do it, baby, because I have to go and grow. I got stuff to do; I got movies I need to direct. I got books I got to finish.”

“This was great, and I love doing it, but it’s been awhile, and they’re in their 20th season, they did this without me,” said Goldberg. “I’ve been here for half of it, but not all of it.”

The show has had its ups and downs over the years with many high-profile exits, including Star Jones, Rosie O’Donnell and Elisabeth Hasselbeck. There’s even a petition to remove co-host Raven-Symoné from the show for what critics have called her “ignorant” spiel.

Goldberg has been a mainstay on “The View” since 2007, serving as moderator. The show is currently celebrating its 20th season and revisiting highlights and hosts from its past.

Goldberg cautions that people shouldn’t miss her. She’s still on the current season.

“I’m not gone yet, so I’m still there now,” she said. “Don’t worry about it.”
