This country star takes it all off for an icy bath that is still pretty hot

Dierks Bentley takes an ice bath, ala Wim Hof, in preparation for his 2017 What The Hell World Tour

Dierks Bentley seems to be a glutton for punishment. Every year at the beginning of the year, while even the south is still in the grips of winter’s chill, Dierks and a posse of his pals jump into one of Nashville’s icy lakes as a way to refresh and recharge for the coming 365 days. Some winters are milder than others and they gauge the amount of time they’re in the water by those temps.

Dierks has already done his yearly dive for 2017, but that wasn’t enough for the country singer-songwriter.

On Jan. 19, inspired by the Dutch daredevil, Wim Hof, who is known for withstanding extremely cold temperatures, Dierks plunged his body into an 44-degree ice bath, typically used by athletes to aid in relieving soreness after a game or to help repair muscle damage. The Arizona native remained in the water for a long 15-minutes and even though the lake water was colder, he says that the combination of the ice and sitting in a metal tub made a huge difference.

You an see that the near freezing water affected his skin, turning it a bright red as he emerges from the tub. What you can’t see, though, is what he’s got under that black box. Even as he hobbles out of the training room, that black box never slips. Oh, Dierks – why you gotta be so modest?

He may be trying to become Wim Hof Jr., but there’s no doubt that Dierks likes it hot, too. Have you seen the steamy new video he released co-starring his super sexy wife Cassidy? Holy smokes!

There’s a distinct possibility that Dierks needed these chilly wake-up calls to prepare for his “What The Hell World Tour” with Cole Swindell and Jon Pardi. With that trio, it could be a party to be all parties.
