The music video for the song adds majesty to the legendary tune, as the members of the group stand beneath the mammoth structure of the Roman Colosseum in Croatia.

“Il Divo” is translated from Italian as “divine performer.” It’s related to the word “diva” which you have probably heard more often. “Diva” applies to woman only though.

Four men form the group. They are German-born Spanish baritone Carlos Marín, Swiss tenor Urs Bühler, American tenor David Miller, and French pop singer-songwriter Sébastien Izambard.

If you haven’t heard of these guys you haven’t been paying attention. They have sold more than 30 million albums, with many going gold and platinum. They do sold-out concerts around the world. The men in this group come from  backgrounds including  opera, classical voice training, heavy metal, pop music and musical theater. The man that originally brought them together in 2003 was Simon Cowell . Perhaps you have heard of him. They say that Simon originally brought them together but that they have a true artistic collaboration with each other.

They have performed in front of some of the most famous people in the world, including President Barack Obama and Queen Elizabeth.

Il Divo is best known for their crossover of classical and popular music.  They are also known for their Armani suits and good looks. Here they take a dip into the traditional/gospel arena with great success.
