When the Country Music Association released the song and music video for “Forever Country,” which brought together the melodies of John Denver’s “Take Me Home, Country Roads,” Willie Nelson’s “On the Road Again” and Dolly Parton’s “I Will Always Love You,” millions of country fans said it was one of the most beautiful things they had ever heard.

Well, think again.

Set up as a promo for the 2016 CMA Awards, show hosts Carrie Underwood and Brad Paisley have now come together to present a stripped-down version of the “Forever Country” song, blending “Take Me Home, Country Roads” and “I Will Always Love You” into a duet that is simply stunning.

With their backs to one another, the two country superstars sing the songs, with the strums of a guitar simply leading the way. And with this version only being one minute long, country music fans are clamoring for a full version of the song.
