If the tryptophan did it’s magic, you are just now coming out of the food coma induced on Nov. 24, Thanksgiving Day, and you’re in good company. Country stars pulled out all of the stops to put on amazing spreads for their families, too. While some of them were traditional fixings, often accompanied by adult refreshments, one brought in a different flavor native to his family, but unique for most. And all of these look like Norman Rockwell paintings, don’t they?
Tim McGraw & Faith Hill
The day before Thanksgiving, Tim shared a photo of four skillets of freshly made cornbread that Faith would turn into dressing. On Thanksgiving day, he shared another picture of the amazing spread saying, “You gotta love a ‘Mississippi Girl!’.”
We haven’t seen a photo of the McBride family’s entire feast, but Martina knows that as all of the dishes are being concocted, her helpers need sustenance. Check out this cheese board she set out for her sous chefs.
Some roast their turkey, some deep-fry it. Jerrod chose to pop his bird onto a Big Green Egg to get a smokey flavor, and his beautiful bride, Morgan, made a display worth of “Garden & Gun” with the results.
This may be the most precious Thanksgiving spread in the world. With their tiny family of just daddy, mommy and a tiny baby girl, Casey shared a photo of their sweet spread for 2 ½.
The Cadillac Three’s Jaren Johnston
If you follow Jaren on Instagram, you know that he and wife, Evyn, are foodies. Not food snobs, but just advocates of really great food. From the looks of this picture, their palates were more than satisfied by this table.
Diamond Rio’s Marty Roe
Sometimes it’s about the food on the table, sometimes it’s about the people around the table. For Diamond Rio lead singer Marty Roe, it’s about both, so he snapped this over-the-shoulder selfie to get all the things he’s thankful for in one shot.
He may crack us up with his comedic observations on life in a hilarious series of YouTube videos, but he’s also quite thought provoking, too. And on Thanksgiving Day, Chad had us thinking we were thirsty as heck.
If anyone has a lot to be thankful for, Blake does. He has had an amazing year full of great music, a killer tour with RaeLynn and new love in beautiful Gwen Stefani. He also has his own line of vodka now and he’s very grateful for that.
This Texas troubadour originally hails from New Mexico, so as much as he loves a traditional turkey dinner, he also added a flavor from his home state to the menu…green chiles. Yum!
