Fox News host Tucker Carlson had a heated argument with business owner Matthew Blackfield. Blackfield, CEO of 1st in SEO, wrote in an online blog post that he would cut off business with those who supported president-elect Donald Trump.
“If you are a Republican, voted for Donald Trump or support Donald Trump, in any manner, you are not welcome at 1st in SEO and we ask you to leave our firm,” he declared in the announcement.
Carlson asked Blanchfield why he made the announcement. “As a principle, do you think it’s okay for people to refuse to do business with others they disagree with?” asked Carlson.
“Absolutely!” Blackfield replied. Blackfield said his right to refuse business with Trump supporters was similar to his right to refuse business to 1940s Nazi party members. Carlson called the comparison “an absurd thing to say.”
The men went fought over the definition of fascism. Carlson accused Blackfield of not knowing the definition of the term, while Blackfield took issue with Trump’s fight against the media.
