What are you thankful for?

Vince Vaughn, or as one child called him “Prince Vaughn,” sat down with kids on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” and asked them what they’re thankful for as Thanksgiving approaches.

Kids touched on their family and friends, but then, Vaughn stopped them and told them to “talk about the good stuff.”

“I’m thankful for new dogs, new bunnies, new animals…” one child named Violet said. “Cause if it’s not about you, it’s not about being thankful, am I right?” Vaughn jokingly asked.

“If it’s not about me, I throw a fit,” she responded.

Vaughn then got back to the topic of family and friends.

“We wouldn’t be here without them,” one child said. “My parents give me all I need,” Natalee said.

“What’s the meaning of Thanksgiving? What are we celebrating?” Vaughn asked the kids.

“We’re celebrating that we are here today cause if the England people stayed at England they’d be bossed around all the time,” Violet said.

“Well, the Thanksgiving was that the pilgrims who settled her and the people that were here already, the Native Americans had a nice meal together and shared some thankfulness. And you know what else happened…is that years later we can all be thankful cause we get some casinos,” Vaughn said.

“I’m lucky cause I do chores and I get money,” Violet said. “Yeah, that’s not gambling, that’s working, that’s what we want to avoid,” Vaughn said.

At the end of the clip, Vaughn asked the kids to then close their eyes and think of things they’re thankful for. Vaughn got up and walked out of the door as the kids sat there, with their eyes closed.
