As Charlie came on stage to put the finishing touches on yet another successful Volunteer Jam, the crowd did a double take as they noticed country music legend Randy Travis walking toward Charlie.

Come to find out, Randy was on hand to present Charlie with the first-ever Rare Country Humanitarian of the Year Award, honoring his commitment to veterans via The Journey Home Project.

“Thank you.”

Indeed, the moment capped off a night that included dynamic performances from artists such as Kid Rock, Luke Bryan, Chris Stapleton, Travis Tritt, Larry the Cable Guy and 3 Doors Down.
