Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton appeared on “Between Two Ferns With Zach Galifianakis” to speak about her presidential campaign. The series has its host awkwardly interview Oscar winners, singers, and even the President of the United States.

The interview started poorly, with Galifianakis trying to scare Clinton and getting tackled by Secret Service.

As with all of Galifianakis’ interviews on “Between Two Ferns,” he began with an awkward opening, accrediting Hillary Clinton as “Had Pneumonia”.

“Critics have questioned some of your decision making recently, and by you doing this show, I hope it finally lays that to rest,” Galifianakis said.

“Oh I think it absolutely proves their case, don’t you?” Clinton responded.

Galifianakis asked about the importance of being the first “girl president,” and Clinton responded that it would be important to all people, not just girls. Galifianakis then said that for a younger generation, Clinton had the possibility of being the first white president for them. Clinton, like most of the guests on “Between Two Ferns,” could only respond by nodding.

“As secretary, how many words per minute could you type?” asked Galifianakis. “And how does President Obama take his coffee? Like himself — weak?” Clinton chided him for his outdated ideas.

Galifianakis asked if she liked the TPP, about Donald Trump, his potential Secretary of State, and whether she would move away if Trump was elected.

“I would stay in the United States.” Clinton tersely responded. Then she said she would try to stop Trump from destroying the United States.

“So you’re gonna lead the civil war?” Galifianakis asked; Clinton responded she would not take up arms.

Then the two spoke about clothes at the debates, and Ivanka Trump and Chelsea Clinton’s friendship.

There was a commercial break for Donald Trump in the middle of the interview. Galifianakis said Trump “paid me in steaks,” which Clinton advised him not to eat, to run the ad.

The interview closed with a reference to Clinton’s email controversy, with Galifianakis’ classic cautious and awkward delivery.

“This has been a lot of fun Mrs. Clinton, we should stay in touch.” Galifianakis said. “What’s the best way to reach you? Email?”
