New York construction workers thought of a creative tactic to help firefighters rescue a man from the second floor of a house fire in the town of Gouverneur.

According to the Gouverneur Fire Department, construction workers were close by working on a bridge as the fire was happening, which allowed them to use their excavator to get the man out of the burning home.
