Just watch her latest cover performance of Keith Urban’s “Blue Ain’t Your Color.” She once again hits those big notes with ease and shows a lot of emotion on the verses. It’s so hard to believe she’s just a very young teenager!

Tegan is committed to making a go of her country music career, though. In an new interview with the “Detroit Free-Press,” Tegan reveals she’s now taking school classes online.
“I still go to my school when I’m at home in Flint, Michigan,” Tegan says of her online classes. “But I do it on my laptop. I still get to go to lunch and hang out with my friends. I get to participate in the dances. I could still get to do sports if I wanted to, but I’m focused on music.”

Committing to her music career means Tegan has given up one extracurricular activity.
She says, “I used to play basketball. I used to play sports, but I’m really into music right now — focusing on that.”
We’re glad to see Tegan is working to have balance in her life while she continues to share her singing gift with us!
