When a group of bagpipers gathered together at the festival in northwestern Spain to honor the farmers of the town of Redondela, the occasion was filled with pomp and circumstance, and the typically provincial town transformed into something a bit more festive. However, the highlight of the day was the interpretation of a classic AC/DC song by the local bagpipers.

The song they performed, “Thunderstruck,” has been a classic since it first appeared on the AC/DC album “The Razor’s Edge” in 1990. In the album notes, Angus Young wrote that the song started off as a “little trick” that he had on the guitar which eventually evolved into the easily recognizable opening riff.
