Amber Johnson was so determined to avoid driving into New Jersey that she ended up injuring a Port Authority police officer in the process.

NBC New York reports that the 30-year-old Clarksville, Tenn., native was driving through the Lincoln Tunnel into New Jersey Sunday night when she told Port Authority officers that she did not wish to continue. Though officers instructed her to continue through the tunnel, Johnson, an Army sergeant who works checking cargo at the World Trade Center, turned into oncoming traffic and ended up striking a Port Authority officer.
