Christopher Columbus’s directorial magnum opuses Home Alone and Home Alone 2: Lost in New York continue to capture the hearts of both young and old.

The Christmas-time flick is watched, rewatched, rewound (because if you’re not watching it on VHS with the Pepsi and American Airlines commercials, you’re doing it wrong) and then watched again.

The Daily Caller recently asked what ever became of our childhood hero Kevin McCallister, known in real life as Macaulay Caulkin.

While Macaulay eventually fell to the pressures of sex, drugs, and rock and roll, The Daily Caller failed to ask the more important question: What ever happened to Buzz McCallister?

That’s right, Buzz. The older brother that provided daily grief for young Kevin and inspiration for older brothers across America.

Luckily, we aren’t the first people to ask this question. Many have speculated where he is today. Some people suggested he’s spent sometime in jail, while others believe he joined the military and went to Iraq and Afghanistan.

None of these are true; the truth is actually much, much better.

According to Buzz himself, in a video uncovered on YouTube, he grew up to become a marine biologist to discover the first ever “trout sniffer.”

Well done, sir. Well done.
