The folks at ShabbyDIY found a gorgeous use for the countless pennies we all seem to carry. They took a badly scarred table, replaced the wooden top, then covered that top with pennies.

A glaze coat, which can be purchased online or at home improvement stores, was spread atop the pennies to keep them in place. The finished product looks amazing!

Fun fact: It took roughly 3,500 pennies to cover the table.
