Millions of Americans had Labor Day off this year, but there are also millions who have every day off because they have no job at all, Herman Cain said on his program Tuesday.
“That’s a sad commentary,” the former presidential candidate said.
“This is why I get bothered when all the media oxygen gets sucked up by a vote of congress doesn’t really mean anything.”
“This is why I get concerned when the president announces a speaking tour to talk about bringing down the cost of college education, when quite frankly those are not the hottest issues.”
“Distraction politics,” Cain calls it.
“Everyday we need to be talking about creation.”
The former Godfather’s Pizza CEO sites a recent survey that found that job participation is at a 35 year low.
“You can’t give up. If you give up, you’ll never find anything,” he said.
