During night three of the Democratic National Convention at the Wells  Fargo Center in Philadelphia, Pa.,, Jill Biden introduced her husband and Vice President Joe Biden.

Joe Biden walked out to music from the “Rocky” franchise, which was appropriate since the film is set in Philadelphia.

“Folks you’ve all seen over the past 8 years what President Obama means to this country, he’s the embodiment of honor, resolve and character. One of the finest presidents we have ever had. That’s right,” he said.

He went on to discuss the American people and the”unbreakable spirit of America.”

He discussed what he knows about Hillary Clinton and why she is the best candidate.

“I know Hillary […] Hillary understands that a college loan is about a lot more than getting a qualified child an education […] She’s always there. She’s always been there. And so has Tim Kaine,” he said.

Biden told the crowd to listen, to think and to not boo or cheer.

Biden also had harsh words for Donald Trump.”His cynicism is unbounded, his lack of empathy and compassion can be summed up […] How can there be pleasure in saying you’re fired?” he asked.

Biden went on to say, “He tries to say he cares about the middle class give me a break, that’s a bunch of malarkey,” he said as the crowd cheered.

“This guy doesn’t have a clue about the middle class. Not a clue,” Biden said. “Actually, he has no clue, period.”

The crowd went wild and chanted, “Not a clue.”

Biden’s speech became serious when he said why Trump isn’t the right fit for President and referred to ISIS.

“We cannot elect a man who exploits our fears, who has no plan, who embraces the tactics of our enemies.”

He went on to discuss how strong Americans are and how they are always moving forward.

“Americans have never ever let their country down.”

“We own the finish line and don’t you forget it,” Biden said.
