Demi Moore is ready to face her biggest role yet… the one of Grandmother! The new comment comes after daughter, Rumer Willis, announced she and boyfriend Derek Richard Thomas are expecting their first baby together.

The actress shared the news on her Instagram account posting several photos of her baby bump, including one of the soon to be dad kissing it. Demi Moore went on to repost the images on her account as well, writing, ““Entering my hot kooky unhinged grandma era.” Hilariously enough, other celebrities chimed in, with Gwyneth Paltrow adding, “I’m into this phase for you.” Charlie’s Angel’s costar Lucy Liu also chimed in, writing, “I love it! Congrats to both moms!”

If this is how she looks as a grandma, then heck, give her more grandchildren! I wish I looked like this at her age. She doesn’t look a day past 35!
Emma Heming Williams, who is married to Rumer’s dad Bruce Willis, also shared the news. She wrote, ““Baby news is happy news!!! Congratulations @rumerwillis and @derekrichardthomas We are elated over here!”
Despite their public divorce back in 2000, Willis and Rumer have remained very close and have been public about their blended families. Together they share Rumer, Scout, LaRue Willis, and Tallulah Willis.
Prior to announcing her pregnancy, Rumer had opened up about how she felt about motherhood. “It’s important to wait,” she said back in November 2020 while on The Talk. “I think it’s so important not to rush in and have it be about the lust or about, you know, that immediate connection, and building a real foundation.”

Just this past summer, Derek opened up about this relationship with Rumer, revealing how happy the couple were.
“In the short time we’ve been together you have filled my life with joy and peace,” he wrote back on Aug. 16. “Everything is just so easy with you. We sing, we dance, we play and most of all we laugh. Thank you for being you. You’re a magical human. I’m so glad you came into my life.”
