Georgia Teenager Searching For Friends Allegedly ‘Hazed and Tortured’ by Four Juveniles

First Coast News

On March 21 in Georgia, Trenton Lehrkamp, 19, was brutally tortured by four minors who he thought were his friends. Lehrkamp was taken into the intensive care unit at a Brunswick-area hospital where he was put on a ventilator and is in critical condition, but slowly recovering. The perpetrators dropped Lehrkamp at the hospital in their white Jeep Wrangler after they tortured him. The horrific incident that the teen was put through was recorded and posted on Facebook.

The unnamed culprits reportedly picked Lehrkamp up from his home on the night of the incident, and according to Lehrkamp’s GoFundMe page, the young man expected to embark on a “casual night out with friends.” During his monstrous night out, Lehrkamp was tied to a chair, sprayed up close with a water hose, and spray-painted. The teen was also pushed to consume copious amounts of alcohol and had antidepressants found in his system.

Why Was Lehrkamp Tortured?

Apparently, a similar hazing incident happened to the recent high school graduate a few days prior to the event that put him in the hospital. The same 11 individuals, whose identities are known to police but being kept from the public, were involved in both incidents. 9 of the juveniles participated in water-hosing Lehrkamp. The videos that were uploaded to social media are apparently from the first event. In the video, Lehrkamp can be seen bound to a chair with his head down. Some of the culprits can be seen in the video flipping off the camera.

According to Interim Glynn County Police Chief O’Neal Jackson, “There were lots of juveniles at these incidents and nothing was spoken while it was occurring.” The Police Chief believes that if the “victim didn’t end up in the hospital,” the event would have not been known publicly.

According to the police report, Lehrkamp was taken into the intensive care unit covered in urine and spray paint. Lehrkamp’s father claims similar events have happened with his son’s “friends,” but the teen would continue to hang around with the cruel high school students because he simply didn’t really have anyone else.
