The investigation quickly captured the nation, with self-proclaimed “detectives” on social media sharing their inquiries, accusations, and overall thoughts on the progression of the case and its subsequent investigation.

Following The Trails

Leads were few and far between in the beginning, but eventually, the local police department was able to uncover a suspect — Bryan Kohberger.

He was arrested in December and since then, investigators are slowly revealing the evidence that led them to close in on Kohberger as their prime suspect. Some of this evidence could possibly be linked to a cold case.

Due to the brutality of the crime, detectives remain convinced that this may not be his first violent offense. Northhampton County’s District Attorney Terence Houck requested that detectives try to match Kohberger’s MO with any unsolved cases.

So far, no connections have been found between Brian Kohberger and unsolved murders or assaults in Pennsylvania and the surrounding areas.

Sinister Experience

People that have associated with Brian either through his academic activities or other social interactions described him as distant, quiet, arrogant, and a bit odd. It is public knowledge now that he began an academic discussion about the hypotheticals surrounding someone getting away with murder.

Since he majored in psychological and criminal studies, Kohboger is well-versed in the topic and may have even been using it as a way to manipulate those closest to him.

Whether or not he is responsible for the murders in Moscow, Idaho, or any other unsolved crimes remains to be proven by the prosecution and evidence collected by investigators.

As of now, Kohberger is waiting behind bars for his day in court.
