Washington rapper Fat Trel was arrested this week after trying to pass off $450 in fake money at a Maryland casino.

Fat Trel, real name Martrel Reeves, was arrested on Sunday after he tried passing off $450 in 50-dollar bills to a casino worker in exchange for chips at Maryland Live Casino.

According to reports, Reeves, who has since been charged with possession of counterfeit currency, told investigators that he got the money out of an ATM at a 7-11 in Washington D.C.

Despite reports of an ATM mistake, Trel denied those allegations on Twitter and joked about how he never has to use an ATM to get cash.
“AN ATM ?😂😂😂😂😂 I DONT EVEN OWN A BANK CARD…PICTURE BIG GLEETCHIE AT A ATM…1st & LASTER RESPONSE 2 DA BULLSHYT!!!” Reeves wrote on Twitter.
