Bobby Brown is finally ready to talk about the deaths of his wife, Whitney Houston, and his daughter, Bobbi Kristina Brown.
In an exclusive interview on “20/20,” Brown reveals details from their private lives, including the first time he saw his wife do cocaine.
On their wedding day in July of 1992, Brown chose to break tradition and see his wife before they walked down the aisle.
“Well, that was the first time I had actually saw her do drugs,” he told Robin Roberts. In his book, “Every Little Step,” he chronicled the events of that day.
Brown claims that he walked into the room and found his bride “hunched over a bureau,” snorting the cocaine. He also claims that she offered to share the drugs with him, but he declined. “She wasn’t that. You know know what I’m saying? The drugs wasn’t her. She did drugs, but drugs didn’t do her. She knew how to handle herself. It only made me love and want to protect her more.”
The special edition of “20/20” airs Tuesday, June 7, at 10 p.m. EST.
