As critics roast the “White Oscars,” Stacey Dash took aim at BET and Black History Month for this reason Screenshot/"Fox & Friends"

Actress-turned-political-commentator Stacey Dash wants to wipe out TV networks and awards for black people. During a segment on Fox & Friends, Dash said such programming further separates Americans.

“We have to make up our minds,” Dash said. “Either we want to have segregation or integration. And if we don’t want segregation, then we need to get rid of channels like BET and the BET Awards and the [NAACP] Image Awards, where you’re only awarded if you’re Black. If it were the other way around, we would be up in arms. It’s a double standard.”

Dash went on to say there should not be a Black History Month since there is no White History Month.

“We’re Americans. Period. That’s it,” she added.

Dash’s comments were in response to the recent controversy about the lack of diversity among the Oscar nominees. Her thoughts were met with both support and outrage on Facebook.
