On Sunday’s season finale of “I am Cait,” Caitlyn Jenner put her faith on full display during a renaming ceremony performed by a Christian minister.

Early in the episode, Jenner explained that many people don’t understand the strong religious ties of many in the transgender community. With her friends by her side, Jenner’s naming ceremony served as a pseudo-baptism for the reality star.

Minister Allyson Dylan Robinson, an ordained Baptist minister and West Point graduate, performed the ceremony and welcomed Caitlyn Marie Jenner to her new life.

“The transgender community – this is my place, and this is where I belong. And it’s a good feeling,” Jenner told the assembled group of friends.

It’s unclear if the Jenners or Kardashians were present at the event as none of the family were seen on the Sunday program.
