In his speech at the People’s Choice Awards this week, he shared a line about character that had the whole crowd cheering.
“It’s nice to be important, but it’s more important to be nice,” he stated. The crowd immediately cheered.
He shared the moment on Instagram Friday.
“Heard this quote when I was 15yrs old. For whatever reason it just clicked and made sense to me,” he wrote. “I told myself then if I ever became ‘famous’ one day, I’d always try and do my best to live it.”
His People’s Choice Award moment wasn’t over, however. After he made his grateful statement, he made a jab at comedian Kevin Hart, who he started with in Central Intelligence.
