Emma Stone won an Oscar for best actress for her leading role in “La La Land.”
The 28-year-old shared her success with friend Brie Larson, who had also won the award the year before for her role in “Room.”
Larson went to congratulate the actress backstage.
After Larson tapped on Stone’s arm to get her attention, Stone turned around, and the two engaged in a brief conversation.
The actresses smiled and cried as they entered an emotional embrace.
